GI-MAP Microbial Assay Plus (Stool) $450

The GI-MAP (Microbial Assay Plus) is unique in the field of comprehensive stool testing. It relies exclusively on quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology to detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more, by targeting the specific DNA of the organisms tested. The GI-MAP™ (GI-Microbial Assay Plus) quantitatively assesses a client’s microbiome with attention to bacterial, parasitic, and viral pathogens that can cause disease, disrupt the normal microbial balance, and contribute to chronic GI illness. Dr. Patti Knobbe will contact you for a follow-up consultation after reviewing the results.

DUTCH Complete (Urine) $450

Total Mycotoxins Panel (Urine) $400

Mycotoxins are small, toxic molecules produced by various species of mold, some of which can be found in water-damaged homes or buildings. These toxins are significant because they are highly toxic and are produced by species such as Stachybotrys, commonly known as “black mold,” which is often present in mold-contaminated environments. Mold in a home is not only a concern for individuals with allergies or asthma. Water leaks create ideal conditions for mold growth. While there are many species of mold, Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold) is more dangerous than the more common indoor molds such as Aspergillus and Penicillium. Exposure to mold can lead to immunosuppression and upper respiratory infections, and long-term exposure may result in acute to chronic health issues. Mycotoxins are well-documented for their harmful effects on human cells, disrupting normal cell function and being linked to a variety of clinical symptoms and diseases, including:
  • Kidney toxicity
  • Immune suppression
  • Autism
  • Neurotoxicity
  • Depression
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Cancer
  • Acute pulmonary hemorrhage
  • Aplastic anemia
  • Birth defects

The RealTime Lab Mycotoxin Panel detects 16 different mycotoxins, including: Trichothecenes (Satratoxin G and H, Isosatratoxin F, Roridin A, E, H, and L2, and Verrucarin A and J.), Ochratoxins (Ochratoxin A), Aflatoxins (Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, and G2), Gliotoxin (bis (methyl) gliotoxin), and Zearalenone.

Dutch Organic Acids Test (OATs Urine) $275

Organic acids are byproducts of the body’s metabolic pathways. Analyzing these metabolites can provide valuable insights into various aspects of health, including gut health, mitochondrial function, neurotransmitter levels, detoxification processes, macronutrient breakdown, and overall nutritional status. This makes organic acid testing an effective tool for assessing the need for essential nutrients, dietary modifications, antioxidant support, detoxification strategies, and other therapeutic interventions. The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive overview of an individual’s nutritional and metabolic health. It measures 76 organic acids using a single, easy-to-collect urine sample.
